This lounge area is an example of a good design due to the a clear path of travel that the arrangement of the furniture allows for.  The layout of the furniture also creates a space that promotes community, but can also be private.

This space on the first floor of Demoss shows a good spatial design.  The furniture is arranged along the perimeters creating a clear path down the center of the room, creating flow from one area to the next.  Additionally, the furniture is placed in a way that promotes connection to the outside while also keeping the space private .

This prayer chapel layout is a good example of successful design.  There is plenty of space to walk in and out of the small pews comfortably. A clear path of travel allows for better flow through the room.  Additionally, having a clear center line helps create a focal point to the cross and the Lord's Supper table and incorporates the sacredness of prayer and time spent with God.

This common area displays principles of good design.  The placement of the booths and commons create a clear path of travel that is direct.  The booths also gave a connection to the outside with the window beside it.  Repetition is seen in the columns and ceiling tiles to keep people moving in the right direction as needed.  The columns also serve as a "divider" to separate what is shown in the sketch and the rest of the room on the other side.  It creates a welcoming place where students can do their work in a somewhat private space, but also have the choice to fellowship with others.

This space found in the Business Building on Liberty University exemplifies a successful spatial design.  The space and arrangement of furniture creates grouping which promotes community in small clusters.  The way the furniture is arranged allows there's to be an easy flow through the space on the perimeters of the room without having to walk in the middle of the grouped furniture and risking interrupting conversations.  The window placed down the center line of the room provides a clear focal point as well as bringing natural light and a connection to the outside to the space.

The dining space found in Demoss exemplifies a good design techniques.  The use of the Hey Cow accent wall is used to separate two distinct areas to keep the dining spaces more private and away from long lines.  Additionally, the arrangement of furniture allows for a comfortable flow through the space without feeling like one has to walk through a conversation to leave the space.  The booths have walkways on both sides to aid in traffic circulation and flow.

This is great design due to the separation of areas with the walls with bookcases that create a private reading and study space for students in the library.  Additionally, there is a connection to the outside that brings natural light it.  Natural lighting can help promote productivity within the space.  In addition to the separation and connection to the outside, the furniture is arranged in a way that is out of the way of the common path of travel, yet convenient for those using the reading spaces.
